* To contribute to students becoming individuals who, through organized activities, produce evidence-based knowledge, think critically, reach collective reasoning, express their thoughts, have the courage to defend their ideas, can recognize and correct their mistakes, say ‘no’ when necessary, and follow through on the responsibilities they undertake,

* To coordinate and monitor the execution of research and application requests from public and private institutions, thereby providing institutional services,

* To build a bridge between academic life and social life by raising awareness and informing the public,

* To collaborate with civil society organizations.


* Given the characteristics of the region where the University is located:

– To contribute to the epistemic community, public and private institutions, and the people of the region in accessing knowledge by conducting research,

– To encourage faculty members to carry out projects that can respond to the needs of society,

– To carry out activities aimed at developing the knowledge and awareness of students,

– To reach the public on regional and global issues through publications and broadcasts,

– To increase the visibility of the University.
